Build Your Own Blogging Network

Monday, January 2nd, 2012

I am new in the blogging business, the first thing I do is to post to hosted blogs, most of the blogs I am working on are wordpress based, as far as we know that WordPress is wonderful for automated posting, managing and much more, with the fact that its licensed under GPL make the WordPress the most famous and versatile blogging software of all time.

Lately I figured that I should build my own blogs and promote them, afterwards I can use the already built blogs to promote whatever I want, of course this is not a new idea, the existence of blog networks already says it all, anyway those are other people’s asset and I have no control, and I have no way to post to those blogs, probably I will have to pay quite dearly to have my sites promoted.

Its quite difficult to manage more than a few blogs manually, if you want values for your blogs,to write interesting content is always time consuming, remember real value is always difficult to achieve. I’ve seen quite a few real world examples, let’s examine this one, Chinese Restaurants Information, it has a nice name, and there are a lot of interesting articles on it, since this is not a themed blog, almost any interesting posts get posted on it. One more example, Dog House, this blog has a theme, all topics are about same theme, and ranks well for quite a few keywords. Its easy to show more similar sites, though I guess you get the point already. Here is one last note, you should build some casual blogs, do some casual postings randomly, such as this blog, Winch Straps and Ratchet Tie Downs, your blogging network looks more natural with these casual blogs.

After you successfully build a few blogs, you can try to build a few more, then use the established blogs to promote the new ones, get your own little blog network going is not that too difficult. It sounds pretty simple, but it won’t be easy to build even a tiny blogging network, follow the professional recommendations and ethic codes of online conduct you will be fine.
